Our Mission

We believe agriculture in SW Michigan, Berrien County in particular, is an asset to value, protect and enjoy.  Here we have an abundance of fruits, vegetables and livestock and a variety of microclimates.  In fact, just up the road a bit in Benton Harbor is a fruit market where farmers bring their products.  This fruit market was, at one time, the largest in the world!

Our goal is to ensure that local produce and other agricultural products are available to individuals and organizations now and in the future.
